Yes, we work in Cedar Park. The city sits about 16 miles northwest of downtown Austin, mostly in Williamson County with a small piece in Travis County, and we reach it on US 183 or the 183A toll road. The thing to know here is timing. This was ranch land until housing started in the 1960s. The Handbook of Texas counts about 125 people in 1970 and 26,049 in 2000. The 2020 census found 77,595, and the Census Bureau's July 2025 estimate is 79,032. A town that fills up that fast ages all at once, and its gutters go with it.
Gutter service in Cedar Park: limestone, live oaks and a 2000s housing wave
Census survey data puts the median Cedar Park home at 2005, about five years newer than the Austin area. National contractor tables commonly list aluminum gutters at 20 to 30 years, so the first big wave of houses has reached that window. That is a reason to inspect, not a reason to replace. Corners, hangers and fascia tell us which way to go.

The land adds its own load. West of the Balcones fault, the Handbook of Texas describes Williamson County soils as loamy with limey subsoils, under post oak, live oak and juniper. Limestone was a major product here from the 1890s to about 1970, and cedar fence posts shipped out too. For a gutter, that means oak leaves and tassels up top and juniper litter in the valleys. Down low, a downspout dumping beside the slab keeps water where you least want it, so we check where each one sends it.
Ice is the storm to plan for here. Winter Storm Mara brought limbs down across Cedar Park in early February 2023, and the city's curbside debris contract reached $1.8 million. A loaded oak limb that lands on an eave bends the front lip and can pull hangers from the fascia. After a storm like that, walk the house and look for a kinked line along the gutter. Pruning is the first answer to a limb over the roof, and the tree rules below are worth reading before anything bigger.
Work that fits homes along US 183 and Whitestone
- Gutter replacement
Original runs from the 1990s and 2000s are reaching the 20 to 30 years national tables list. On a full replacement the old metal comes down and leaves with us.
- Leaking gutter repair
An older house may only need corners and end caps resealed. We say so when that is true, so a sound run on a 2005 house can stay on the wall.
- Micro-mesh guards
Fine metal screen for lots where live oaks drop tassels every spring. It also stops the small juniper litter common on Cedar Park's limestone lots, though it still needs an occasional check.
- Fascia and soffit repair
Twenty years of drips can soften the board behind a gutter. We confirm scope on the estimate, so a bad board on a 2000s eave gets found before new metal goes on.
- Downspouts and extensions
On a two-story roofline, add a downspout before you assume the gutter is too small. We also route each outlet past beds and walks, so water leaves the slab on a tight Cedar Park lot.
- Storm gutter repair
Ice-loaded oak limbs fell across Cedar Park in the February 2023 storm. A limb strike can bend a front lip or pull hangers, and we document the damage and quote the repair in writing.
- Gutter cleaning
Live oak tassels land in spring and juniper litter keeps building, so twice a year is the floor under a heavy Cedar Park canopy. Two-story eaves make this a fair job to hand off.
“Omar and his coworker replaced all our old gutters, hauled off the old gutters and said to call if we had any issues at all. Very polite and efficient.”
“They did a great job on installing gutters and leaf guards on my house. Their work was seamless. Very professional would recommend to anyone”
A visit from South Austin up US 183
Call and we set a time to come out. At the house we measure linear feet, look over the fascia and mark where downspouts belong. You then get a written line-item quote listing gauge, size, color, downspout count and any guards. There is no sales pressure, and the decision stays with you.
On install day the old gutters come down first. A portable machine roll-forms the new .027 aluminum at your curb, so seams land only at corners and end caps. We clean up, walk the job with you and check the discharge at every downspout.

Cluck Creek, 183A and the city's tree rules
Cedar Park grew around US 183, with RM 1431 (Whitestone Boulevard) and Cypress Creek and Brushy Creek roads as its cross streets. The H-E-B Center stands at New Hope Drive and 183A, and Cluck Creek starts at Running Brushy Spring, the spring that gave the first settlement its name. All of that falls inside the area we cover, in ZIP 78613 and across the Travis County line.
Elizabeth Milburn Park on Sun Chase Boulevard, Veterans Memorial Park and the 90-acre Brushy Creek Lake Park are the city parks most people use as landmarks. Cedar Park runs its own water plant and shares the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority with Leander and Round Rock, both drawing on Lake Travis. Pedernales Electric Cooperative serves homes here, so if a service drop lands on your eave, point it out at the estimate.
One local note. Cedar Park amended its tree rules in March 2019, lowering the mitigation threshold on development from 16-inch to 8-inch hardwoods and setting heritage trees at 26 inches, measured a foot above ground. Before you take down a big oak to end gutter cleaning, call the city. A guard may solve the same problem.

Cedar Park gutter questions
Are Cedar Park gutters from the early 2000s due for replacement?
Not automatically. National contractor tables commonly list aluminum at 20 to 30 years, so a 2000s Cedar Park gutter is in that window, not past it. Separated corners, pulled hangers and soft fascia decide the answer. We inspect those during the free estimate and tell you whether a repair will hold or a new roll-formed run makes more sense.
Do gutter guards make sense under Cedar Park live oaks?
Often, yes, when limbs hang over the roof. Micro-mesh is a fine metal screen that stops tassels and juniper litter and lets water through. Guards cut cleaning; they do not end it, because grit still settles on top. Tell us which side of the house sits under the canopy, and the written quote will show that run as its own line.
Do I need a Cedar Park permit to replace gutters?
Ask the City of Cedar Park before work starts. Austin's exempt-work list and wildfire code do not apply here, so the city's building staff is the place to confirm what your address needs. If your street has an HOA, check its color rules too and tell us what they allow before we quote.
